Choisya x dewitteana White Dazzler - Mexican Orange - Plant in 2 L Pot

Choisya are native to southern USA and much of Mexico. Choisya x dewitteana White Dazzler is an exceptional hybrid, was raised in the Uk. by Peter Moore (who is also responsible for raising many new varieties and cultivars of Buddleja) in 2009 as a cross between C. dumosa and C. dewitteana, and has been granted the RHS Award of Garden Merit. An elegant domed shrub of compact habit with attractive aromatic leaves made up of 3-5 long slender leaflets. The white flowers are produced in abundant clusters in early summer and again in late autumn. They are smaller than Aztec Pearl but borne in much greater numbers and are highly fragrant with a fragrance similar to that of Orange blossom. A plant of considerable merit. Easy to grow in full sun and almost any free draining soil. This plant can be used in a mixed planting or as a stand alone specimen in the garden or can easily be grown in a pot or other container. Use a good quality compost. Ensure you feed regularly as a hungry plant is a poor performer. We recommend Osmoscote pro 12-14 month applied in the early spring. One application gives all the nutrients the plant requires for the whole year. Compact growth makes this an excellent patio plant, which is also very tolerant of pruning.
